Photos of Granite Island Light Station Ecology and Geology

Photos of the natural beauty of the island. The plant life on the island is surprisingly diverse while the animal life is limited to seagulls, a few other birds and a bat as we have observed so far. On January 3rd, 2002 we visited the island to repair the weather station and observed rabbit tracks in the snow but we have never seen one. The landscape of cliffs and glacial striations is also breathtaking.
